So here I am at 35 weeks-just one more of these silly pictures to take! It is getting hard to move, sleep, bend, sit, and everything else.
I cannot believe how fast the time is going, we're really getting down there! Next week it's time to get the carseat installed in the car and get a bag packed for the hospital already-yikes. We also have our last childbirth prep class where we tour the hospital, which should be interesting and useful. We've preregistered already, and have chosen a pediatrics office so we're checking things off the list.
This weekend I'll be washing everything; we've opened, sorted and put away a lot, but still need to wash all the clothes, blankets etc. Then I can put together the crib, organize the drawers, pack the diaper bag and other fun duties! While I'm doing this, Jeff will be hard at it outside (literally). He's installing pavers on our patio slab. We found a nice manufactured product that looks like cut stone, it should look great when done! With the bathroom and pergola done, he's decided to take on yet another project.
We got to see our baby at my 35 week checkup this week unexpectedly! (And we held our ground and did not find out the sex.) As mentioned, my belly has been measuring small at each visit. Well, this time I was smaller than the 'normal range' so they decided to have a look. The doctor measured the head circumference, body cavity, femur and amniotic fluid, all of which measured right on. The baby is estimated to weigh 2547 grams-about 5 1/2 lbs! The baby is definitely head down, with it's feet constantly in my side, and gets the hiccups at least once per day. Unfortunately, no pictures this time but we did see the baby practice breathing.
So, that's all for now. Just staying busy so the time goes fast.

As you can see, we've got a really good start on all the gear we need, just a few more things to pick up and we should be set.
