Nora's First Christmas (number 2)

Last week we spent Wed night-Sunday with the Koski family in Utah. It snowed most of the time we were there, which made for happy skiers! I skied two days, Jeff skied four. We also got to enjoy the Sundance Film Festival one evening while Grandma and Grandpa babysat.

Nora still loves bathtime, and enjoyed the rubber ducky at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

Nora came to the lodge at the base of Snowbasin. She and Grandma enjoyed watching all the activity outside.

Nora and Grandpa with matching lanyards and ski passes!

Hanging out with Uncle Mike.
Enjoying the fire (and some pear) with Uncle Scott.

Nora couldn't wait to eat that tissue paper!

Somehow I did not get a picture of Nora with Aunt Emily-oops. They spent lots of time together, hanging out for two days while the rest of us skied.
As a follow-up to the video, Nora is still army crawling around and is getting faster. She hasn't figured out yet that if she got her belly off the ground it would be a whole lot easier!

Nora on the Move!

I will post pics of our trip to Utah soon, but here is a video of Nora before daycare this morning, 1/26 (Tuesday). Keep in mind that on Sunday she was stationary...

I can't wait to see what tonight brings, always something new :)

Nothing New

Not much new has happened here lately, but here are a few pictures.

We were brave and took Nora out to dinner with friends on Saturday night. Nora was so good, and got to eat out herself!

Swimming

On Sunday, we took Nora to an indoor water park at our community center. We thought we'd take her swimming a few times before our upcoming to trip to Florida. She was a little unsure at first.
But quickly began to enjoy it! Look at those teeth!

She especially enjoyed floating in the lazy river.

And splashing with Daddy.

We'll definitely take her again, she really loved it!

I had to leave Mon-Wed for my first overnight work trip since Nora was born. I tried packing her in my suitcase, and though she fit I just didn't think it would work out. Jeff and Nora did great while I was gone, of course.

Next week we head to Utah for a belated holiday gathering with the Koski family. We're looking forward to relaxing with the family and hopefully getting some skiing in!

New Years

We spent the first weekend of the new year in the mountains with friends. On Saturday, everyone else was skiing so Nora and I went for a walk in the fresh snow. She loved it, talking the entire way.

After warming up by the fire, Nora relaxed on the Boppy pillow.
Later that evening, she enjoyed watching herself in the mirror (as she always does). If you'd like to see this activity in action, visit www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdxYWQ1LPXs. It's too long to upload to this site; she sure does think she's funny!
Happy New Year!

Nora's First Christmas (number 1)

Nora, Jeff and I had a busy trip to Green Bay to celebrate Christmas. It was a not-so-smooth plane ride to Milwaukee followed by a slow, snowy drive to Green Bay. Luckily, the rest of the trip went much more smoothly.

Nora got lots of attention on Christmas Eve with the Keehan family.

Nora enjoyed opening presents, but mostly wanted to chew on the wrapping paper.

She was fascinated with Millie.

Nora looked soooo cute on Christmas day!

Nora and Eli, getting acquainted.
Nora models some shades she got for Christmas for her upcoming trip to Florida.

So much holiday cheer makes us all sleepy.

A holiday photo with Grandma and Grandpa.

Talking to Grandma.
These are all the Rudolph great grandkids except one (Hailey)!

We tried to recreate a photo of Shannon and Nora at the same age, but Nora was just too squirmy.
In other news, Nora got two teeth within a weeks time. It made for some restless nights but hopefully the worst is over.
