Guest Photographer

The older Nora gets, the less the camera comes out. Maybe it's because we're too busy chasing her around? Anyway, since I only took one picture in the last week, I thought I'd share some photos taken by our sister-in-law Emily. These were taken while Jeff and I skied in Utah, here are some of my favorites!

Friday night we attempted to enjoy a quiet night at home watching the Olympics. But for some reason, we couldn't hear the TV.
Nora is still Army crawling on knees and elbows and has advanced to carrying toys while on the move. She also has taken a special liking to the curtains and loves to wipe her boogers on them!

Grandma wants videos

So here are a few.

Trouble

Before getting into Nora's explorations, below you'll find Sophie giving Nora and Finn a ride at the Superbowl party!

Nora has been very busy exploring all the things she should stay away from in our house. She likes the electronics beneath the TV.

And the fireplace...we never turn it on because the glass gets hot.
And the drawers in the kitchen.
She loves making noise with the door stops,
and even tries to lick them...
but then flashes this smile!
This morning I found her here.
She had emptied every last toy out of this canvas bin and crawled inside to chew on the tag.
Needless to say, Nora requires a lot of supervision these days, but it's so fun to watch her make decisions about where she wants to be.

Visit from Claire

Aunt Claire and Jason came for a visit recently. Nora had the opportunity to pose at yet another brewery! At what age is it inappropriate to bring children to breweries? Oh well, Nora will have been to them all by then.

We went out for breakfast, and attached plenty of toys to Nora to keep her occupied while we filled up on pancakes and breakfast sandwiches.

Jeff and Jason smoked 15lbs of pork, which was a lot of work to shred at the end of the day! It was tasty though...
Rocco turned three, and while he was busy playing with friends, Sawyer and Nora had fun.

Just playing.
On Saturday morning, Nora wrestled with a bag of potatoes from the pantry.
Then helped Daddy eat his cereal.
Playing some more.
Since Nora has been so well behaved at restaurants lately, we decided to go out on Saturday. Once again, she was great.
That's all for now, just passing the winter days watching Nora scoot around. She's enjoying her freedom, but doesn't fully understand the possibilities that mobility brings. She doesn't stray too far (yet) but is becoming interested in electronics and cords, etc!
