I guess the last time we left off, it was Mother's Day weekend. Nora was feeling better, though still not 100% but we headed to the zoo anyway. It was a great day to be outside, and she loves watching animals so we thought it would be fun. We were not the only ones with that idea...
We met the Berg family at the zoo, so Nora had some animal-watching companions, Rocco and Sawyer.
Nora enjoyed the train ride sitting on my lap.
She did not enjoy the carousel with Daddy, despite Rocco's best efforts to amuse her.I guess we didn't take any pictures of Nora and I on Mother's Day; will have to remember that for next year. It was fun to (finally) have a warm day to spend outside, and I was lucky enough to get flowers from Jeff and a necklace from Nora!
We've had a string of cool and rainy weather this month. For a diversion, I took Nora to an indoor playground one afternoon. She enjoyed climbing on the turtle and going on the big slide. Nora really could have used an older sibling to take her up to the slide so I wouldn't have had to...too bad it doesn't work that way.
Sophie and Nora, modeling their matching jammies.
Just a few more minutes of playtime before bed...
And speaking of bad weather, I ran a 1/2 marathon on May 15 and would never had expected it to be 36 and drizzling! Nora and Jeff braved the early morning and cold weather to cheer for me at the finish. This is a pretty sad picture of both of us, but it was COLD!

You may remember when we used to take pictures of Nora every week beside this bear. Well, now she wrestles with it!
As another rainy afternoon diversion, I put Nora to work in the kitchen. She got to wear her apron for the first time, and made herself a pizza!
Wouldn't be pizza without cheese.
As you can see, she enjoyed licking the pizza sauce spoon!
