Two weekends ago, winter was nowhere to be found so we took advantage of the 60 degree temps.

| Relaxing on a rock in the sandbox. |
Then, last Friday, 18 inches of snow fell and the scene changed dramitically!

| Enjoying a snow day! |
Thanks to friends hosting birthday parties, I have some 'material' for this update. Saturday was Ellie's 1st Birthday party.
| Nora couldn't have been more excited to help Ellie open gifts. |
| Who can resist a picture of a cute baby eating birthday cake? |
| Nora also enjoyed a cupcake, then got into the rock candy...craziness ensued shortly thereafter. |
Sunday was an outdoor party with ice skating/hockey for Rocco's 5th Birthday. I did go on the ice, but stayed off of ice skates; just winter boots for me!
| There wasn't much time spent upright on skates for Nora and Sawyer. |
| There was some of this... |
| and even more of this. |
| Nora especially enjoyed going fast on the ice, thanks to Daddy. |
| She did give it a try on her own though. |
| Nora and Sawyer singing ABCs under the picnic table-why? I don't know. |
| In her free time, Nora has been practicing her marching band skills. |
Nora also has found her singing voice. She loves to sing ABCs and 'Tinkle Tinkle' Little Star; both of which she knows very well and really belts out. She also tries to sing others which are less familiar, it's so cute. Here, she works on 'Rock-a-baby':
Oh yes, and I'm still pregnant. We have a few more things to get done this weekend, including hosting a baby shower (for a friend) and after that maybe I'll feel ready...or maybe not. Food tumbles out of the freezer when opened at this point, just a few more finishing touches to finish up Nora's bedroom, and the car seat is ready to go as is the hospital bag. All things considered, I am still feeling good and keep telling myself that even if I'm not sleeping well or am feeling uncomfortable, this is easier than things will be in a month!
| Jeff's surefire way to bring home a boy-put the pink bunting blanket and shoulder straps in the carseat for the hospital. |
