Springtime in Utah

Last weekend in Utah was sunny and warm; great for being outside and getting Nora on the ski slopes! We had such a nice visit with Nanny and Papa Koski and Uncle Scott. Rich and Carol were kind enough to watch the kids while I skied two days, and Jeff got some additional runs in with Scott.

Who knew shoveling was so fun?

Gondola rides!

This Paraguay-an worker wanted his picture taken with the 'blonde kids' :)

Loving it!
Nora's skiing improved with each day.  By the third day, she was, literally, dancing (and singing) her way down the hill!

You don't need to ski to wear a helmet

Yardwork can be fun too!

Nanny made a newspaper hat!

While in Utah, we got word that Iris Elin joined the family!  Welcome to the Koski family, can't wait to meet her!

More from the birthday weekend

As you know, I'm often having problems with pictures not uploading properly. To avoid it, I'm uploading these photos taken with my phone directly from the phone, so these actually go with the previous post.

A First Birthday Celebration

Can you believe it was already time to celebrate Ellis' first birthday!?

This happened to coincide with a visit from Nanny and Papa Rudolph.  Before we got to the birthday celebration, we enjoyed a lazy weekend of game playing (mostly Papa and Nora), trips to the indoor pool, a park and many other fun things.

We decided Ellis really needed a haircut...

So Jeff and Nanny go to it!

So much better!

Started clean enough

But turned messy fast!

One!!
A fun time was had by all, that might have been the most people we've had in our house and one time.  It was great to have my parents here to help get ready for the party, serve food and clean up!

We're leaving later this week for Utah to spend time with Jeff's family and undoubtedly ski!
