Tons of Fun

Today I have a collection of photos from the past month or so (before we were in Florida in March) that I haven't shared yet. Why? you ask. Well, they just haven't fit into the theme of the past few posts. So here are a bunch of randoms... Nora before daycare one morning, she looks like a garden gnome! Nora and Finn in the Burley, they like going 'weeee' in there and rocking forward and backward (makes for a hard time for the peddler).
Happy at breakfast (usually)!
Digging in the dirt-bath time.

Modeling a new dress from Nanny Carol. The funny thing is when Nora saw this picture on Jeff's phone, she looked at it and said 'turtle' :) She realized she was standing in front of the pool in Florida, and on the bench of the pool, set into the tile is a turtle that she loves looking at. She doesn't miss a beat. Kerry, Paul and Baby Ellie came over one night. Nora was so excited about the 'baby' that she was practically on top of her the entire night.

And such a helper she was...
Nora has a cell phone she likes to play with, well she had one. We couldn't find it for a few days, until it turned up here one day while unloading the dishwasher. It's clean, but no longer works!
She's not an ice cream fan (maybe she isn't our child?) but Nora does like Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches.
Even the doll gets a turn at blowing bubbles.

Climbing on the fence.
Love this one!
Last week Nora had a ponytail for the first time. What a big day!
Nora and Sophie playing 'teacher' in the grass.
We procured a Cozy Coupe from a nice neighbor whose kids have outgrown it. Nora loves it and never wants to share with Finn, who of course wants to get in every time Nora is inside. Either neither of them want it or they both do.
On Sunday she took dolly for a ride in the wagon.
And another ride in the stroller-lucky doll. Oh, and the snacks and milk tagged along too.

Nora has a little plastic frog toilet that she occasionally wants to sit on. So far, she's gone pee in it twice and poop once. After pooping, she turned around and looked in the bowl, then ran to the other side of the bathroom and stood against the wall; she was afraid of it! It was so funny, but I guess she's never seen poop before...

We had teacher conferences a few weeks ago at daycare. It seems Nora is doing well, causing some trouble (they had to remove the bookshelf from the classroom), and has quite an extensive vocabulary for her age. While she rarely puts two words together, Nora talks constantly (we understand 40% of it). This week while I was traveling she learned to say I love you. I've only heard her say it once, but look forward to it becoming a more heavily used phrase!

My favorite pictures:
Nora and Finn 'sideways glance picture;
The big girl with the pony tail;
And, the happy little girl all full of dirt!

Everyday is another adventure for her.
